About João Mourão

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. My first photography was taken in a AGFAMATIX 508 that my grandmother gave me on my 8th birthday. At the age of 14 bought my first SLR, the PENTAX P30N. In those days it was a really good camera, added some lens to the set and only needed to buy a new camera when a fire burnt all my house and assets. My first camera after that was a Canon EOS 300V. Love that lightweight camera and the kit lens, I also bought a Sigma 70-300mm and have done photography with it until the digital era. My first digital camera is a Sony PSC. I also bought the Canon EOS 350D (what a camera, guys!) that has been my camera until now. Now I'm going NIKON.
